Shipping policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which NovaCloud (Pty) Ltd (“NovaCloud”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) supplies, ships, and delivers products and services to Customers (“you”, “your”).

1. Delivery & Shipping Charges

1.1 NovaCloud reserves the right to charge delivery fees to the Customer in line with our standard delivery policy at the time of order.
1.2 If the Customer requests a delivery method other than NovaCloud’s standard shipping option, the Customer will bear the additional costs.
1.3 Shipping charges will be communicated to the Customer before dispatch, and acceptance of such charges will be deemed as confirmation of the delivery method.

2. Delivery & Scheduling

2.1 Delivery dates and times are estimates only and not guaranteed.
2.2 NovaCloud may split deliveries into multiple shipments if deemed necessary, provided this is communicated to the Customer.
2.3 In cases of urgent or time-sensitive orders, NovaCloud may require the Customer to collect the goods or arrange their own courier.

3. Third-Party Carriers

3.1 NovaCloud may engage third-party couriers or transporters to deliver goods to Customers.
3.2 Where a Customer elects to use their own nominated transporter, NovaCloud shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delay once the goods leave NovaCloud’s premises.
3.3 Goods collected by a third-party transporter will be deemed as delivered to the Customer.

4. Inspection & Notification

4.1 Customers must inspect all goods upon delivery and confirm that they match the order in terms of quality, quantity, and specification.
4.2 Any claims for damaged, defective, or non-conforming goods must be made in writing to NovaCloud within 3 (three) business days of delivery.
4.3 If no notification is received within this timeframe, the goods will be deemed to have been accepted by the Customer.

5. Risk & Ownership

5.1 Risk of loss, damage, or theft of goods passes to the Customer upon delivery or collection by a third-party carrier.
5.2 Ownership of goods remains vested in NovaCloud until full payment has been received.
5.3 Customers are required to insure goods from the time of delivery until final settlement of the invoice.
5.4 In the event of non-payment, NovaCloud reserves the right to repossess goods, even if they are located at the Customer’s premises.

6. Delays & Force Majeure

6.1 NovaCloud will not be held liable for delivery delays caused by events outside of our reasonable control, including supplier delays, courier disruptions, natural disasters, strikes, or power failures.
6.2 A reasonable delay in delivery does not entitle the Customer to cancel an order or withhold payment.

7. Logistics Services (NovaCloud Fulfilment)

7.1 For Customers making use of NovaCloud Fulfilment Services, NovaCloud will manage warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods on the Customer’s behalf.
7.2 These services may include:

  • Secure warehousing and stock management

  • Real-time parcel tracking and delivery notifications

  • Reverse logistics for product returns and warranty exchanges
    7.3 Additional charges may apply for NovaCloud Fulfilment Services, as per agreement with the Customer.
