What is Multi-Cell DECT?
Simply put, Multi-Cell DECT allows a cordless phone to “roam” seamlessly between multiple base stations without dropping a call. This makes it possible for employees to move freely around large buildings, multi-level offices, or campuses while maintaining uninterrupted high-quality voice communication.

Yealink’s Multi-Cell DECT solution supports up to 100 handsets connected to 30 base stations, providing extensive coverage. With a range of 50 m indoors and up to 300 m outdoors (clear line of sight), it ensures excellent connectivity across large and complex environments.

Unlike Wi-Fi-based cordless phones, which can suffer from interference and poor configuration, DECT technology remains one of the most secure, interference-free, and high-quality VoIP communication methods available today.
