Optional extras (operator panel, recording, WhatsApp) are the same Vuleka Reach options on our VoIP page. We will not list studio-link or transmitter models we do not supply.
IT and cloud beside the newsroom
Managed IT, cybersecurity and backup protect mail, file shares and the CMS you already use. Cloud hosting and migration are available; custom packages stay enquire-only. We do not claim a content-delivery or streaming-origin product beyond that hosting service.
Live window versus back-office hours
During a live window the desk needs overflow and a wallboard, not a voicemail box. Overnight, time-based routing can send audience calls to a duty producer’s mobile. Both are clock and queue configuration on the same tenant. Field WAN quality still governs whether a journalist’s mobile client holds up — we size that honestly.

What is a newsroom Cloud PBX used for?
A newsroom Cloud PBX splits the tip line, advertising and assignment desk onto queues, and puts the station number on journalists’ mobiles. NovaCloud Africa configures that on Vuleka Reach and runs managed IT beside the CMS you already use. We do not supply mixers, playout, studio links or transmitters.
Do you supply broadcast or studio equipment?
No. We supply Cloud PBX, managed IT, hosting, monitoring, backup and related consulting. Mixers, playout, studio links and transmitters are not NovaCloud products.
Can journalists keep the station number on a mobile?
Yes. Mobile and web clients retain company call flows and caller ID, subject to the WAN quality in the field.
Can we host a website or tool with you?
Cloud hosting and migration are available. Custom VPS sizing is enquire-only — we confirm resources and price after scoping.
Do you offer omnichannel for audience messages?
WhatsApp can join the same Vuleka Reach inbox as voice. That is the omnichannel option on our VoIP service — not a social-CMS we invented.
